Cassidy + Saied like many 2020 couples had to shift gears when planning their dream wedding. Luckily SHE knew just the spot to host a much smaller than originally planned guest list to witness Cassidy + Saied say I Do! The venue was our own event studio, Slate + the day could not have been more beautiful. As the two-day setup concluded + the florals, draping, + lightbulbs were all hung from Slate’s ceiling SHE knew this ceremony + reception was going to be one to remember.

When guests arrived they walked through the beautiful cocktail hour space to the other side of the studio where the ceremony took place. The ceremony was set in a gorgeous draped + greenery filled setting as guests watched from all sides. Then, guests moved to the cocktail hour side of the studio as our team got to work on flipping the ceremony studio into the dinner reception space. The end result was a gorgeous + chic dinner party reception with two long family style tables filled with greenery + candlelight. It was a night to remember for Cassidy + Saied! SHE was so happy we could make this couple’s wedding even more magical than originally planned.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Meghan + Matt

As delicately as the seasons change, SHE tiptoed into Fall with the stunning wedding celebration of Meghan + Matt. With an early September wedding, the design + decor hinted at the crisp weather that was to come with phenomenal velvet elements all while being reminiscent of warmer summer evenings with hues of slate blue + gray with pops of mustard, peach, + gunmetal. The inviting palette + decor, which consisted of an abundance of candles + crystal from the candelabras, clear glass tables + Pittsburgh Field Clubs’s chandeliers that dripped of rich greenery, paralleled the warm, genuine personalities of the newlyweds. What topped off the night was watching the couple share their first dance atop of a custom slate blue dance floor with a pewter lacy laser cut pattern that perfectly framed them.

SHE may be biased but the Pittsburgh Field Club never looked so romantic + stylish + SHE couldn’t have created such a magical night without this ever-so-deserving Mr. + Mrs.! Watch the beauty unfold in the teaser below by ShoFilms!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Shana + Nate

For a couple as sweet as Shana + Nate, it was only right that SHE made sure that their vision of a cotton candy-inspired wedding came to life. As you know by now, SHE prides ourselves on being detail snobs + this wedding design was no different. Starting the unique design was the “seating chart” which was comprised of three acrylic hollow structures filled with monochromatic chic floral design + adorned each guest’s name + table assignment. 

From there, the sophisticated twist to the pastel cotton candy motif continued beyond the Omni’s Grand Ballroom doors where the space was engulfed by an ultra chic, intense monochromatic design — each table was either a dusty rose, gray or slate blue from the linens, chair pads, napkins, water goblets, candle sticks, tables numbers + of course florals. Because SHE can’t make the wedding cake just one color amongst a room of such amazing hues, it was created with delicate, holographic sugar paper cascading down the front. It was a hit + so was the inside flavor…Funfetti which perfectly describes this fun couple!

No detail was left untouched that we will just let the photos speak for themselves, but one element that SHE would be remiss to not note — the custom circular dance floor that anchored the ballroom. The marbling of rose, slate blue, gray + lavender which was an exact replica of the invitation design truly satiated every sweet tooth + wedding dreams. Congratulations Shana + Nate!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Ashlee + Toner

Our fierce Beyonce-loving bride, Ashlee married the Jay to her Bey, Andy aka Toner! Their love was certainly on top and they shared a stunning day for family + friends to remember forever! As the daughter of the premiere wedding dress shop in Pittsburgh, Bridal Beginning, Ashlee served looks like no other!! So of course slaying details was a must! SHE completely transformed the ballroom at Valley Brook Country Club with their Tuscan garden wedding. Guests entered this magical celebration through a hand draped white tunnel adorned with greenery, lighting, and romantic statues. The foyer entrance certainly gave guests something to talk about as they found their seat on the ornate mirrors on the floral boxwood walls while white-gloved hands passed through the same wall to give them a pretty signature cocktail. It was too good to be true!

The build up and drama continued as you entered the ballroom boasting villa vibes and modern romance with an abundance of greenery + all white florals. The custom faux wood pergola anchored the room with thousands of roses over the dance floor; it was absolutely breathtaking. Acrylic tables tops were styled with their own floating green oasis while others had acrylic details paired with crisp white linens or a beautiful floral sequin overlay, all working together and complimenting perfectly with each centerpiece design! The garden glam fun continued on the patio with the custom swing that was the perfect social media moment and kissing spot! SHE couldn’t be happier with this spectacular production and we so humbled to share another dream wedding with this family who are not just clients but our dear friends…Ti Amo Toners!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Alex + Michael

Pittsburgh meets the Netherlands was the wedding vibe Alex + Michael wanted so {SHE} made it happen! This beautiful wedding mix was inspired by the Groom’s family background + the Brides hometown. This wedding was the perfect way to give their guests a glimpse of the groom’s family history while still keeping things stylish + sleek! {SHE} loved doing this Delft inspired wedding!

Alex + Michael’s wedding was on a snowy day mid-January but that didn’t stop this couples special day! The ceremony was simple + elegant with large statement pieces from Hens + Chicks. The blue + white florals complimented the bride’s gown perfectly. Hens + Chicks made the reception even more amazing with their floral centerpieces in custom delftware. The blue palette really made guests feel like they were in the Netherlands! Mastro Ice’s custom AHM ice sculptures added some spice to the room wowing everyone! The details were perfect + so was the Elite Show Band keeping Alex + Michael’s friends + family entertained. This wedding was one for the books! {SHE} had fun planning every minute of it.
