SHE loves a couple that isn’t afraid to bring black into their wedding design, especially when black is rarely ever styled at their wedding venue! When we learned one of Katie + Andrew ‘s favorite past times is a good happy hour, we knew we had to create a special bar moment like none other at the Omni William Penn Ballroom. The Shannons were on board to have the most fabulous + ultra-chic statement bar as the focal for their reception design! As guests entered the ballroom, grabbing their champagne from a custom wall, they were greeted by the bar beauty created with luxe black velvet + the most gorgeous cascading white roses falling 10ft from the balcony to the bar front. The posh micro details on the guest tables felt effortless and complimented the drama that anchored the room. The energy was grand and the tone was set for the rest of the night. Guests enjoyed the sounds of THE Elite Show Band + literally danced the night away. It was the best night for the best couple-forever raising our glass to Katie + Andrew!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Tamara + James

Pittsburgh born + NYC living, Tamara served effortless chic for her wedding day. Tamara + James started their day with getting ready at the stylish Hotel Monaco before saying iDo and celebrating with their closest friends + family at the Garden Room at The National Aviary. With greenery + trees surrounding their space, we just loved their urban garden! The neutral + timeless palette of nude, white, and black set the backdrop to the clean aesthetic of the venue that boasts natural light and a perfect indoor/outdoor feel. Statement tables flanked the dancefloor and gave fabulous ‘Jeff Leatham’ floral vibes. Guests mixed and mingled in the garden before dining + dancing the night away. At the peak of the dancing the confetti cannon surprised everyone and was a whole moment. Such an epic happily- ever-after for the Hippolytes!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Nina + David

Nina + David like many couples this year had to pivot + change their wedding plans. However, even with the change of plans, SHE made sure that their dream day was nothing short of amazing. With the change of plans, SHE left Pittsburgh + traveled to West Virginia, to transform Oglebay Resort.

The cocktail hour was set in an outdoor tent with endless rows of string lights twinkling + three custom steel orb chandeliers provided by Every Every AV + Compound Creations. Afterwards guests moved inside to the grand ballroom where the room was beautifully transformed into a rustic wonderland. Move Makers got the party started + had the guests dancing until the end of the night. It was a perfect day + SHE was so happy to be part of Nina + David’s big day.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Lexie + Christian

The love story between Lexie + Christian began 12 years ago on October 10th. When the time came for this beautiful couple to get married, it was no question that October 10, 2020 would be their Wedding Date. Their special day took place at Oakmont Country Club, with the ceremony on the 1st tee + the cocktail style reception taking place on the patio + inside the ballroom.

The backdrop for the ceremony was a stunning custom acrylic 3 piece wall sandwiched between two stunning boxwoods, fit with monograms, florals + Pampas grass. After the ceremony, guests moved to the outdoor patio + inside lounge rooms for cocktail hour. With Co-vid measures in place, the main ballroom was opened + guests could remain on the patio or enjoy the ballroom for a cocktail style reception. Lexie + Christian’s Wedding day was simply stunning + SHE was honored to be a part of their love story!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Meghan + Matt

As delicately as the seasons change, SHE tiptoed into Fall with the stunning wedding celebration of Meghan + Matt. With an early September wedding, the design + decor hinted at the crisp weather that was to come with phenomenal velvet elements all while being reminiscent of warmer summer evenings with hues of slate blue + gray with pops of mustard, peach, + gunmetal. The inviting palette + decor, which consisted of an abundance of candles + crystal from the candelabras, clear glass tables + Pittsburgh Field Clubs’s chandeliers that dripped of rich greenery, paralleled the warm, genuine personalities of the newlyweds. What topped off the night was watching the couple share their first dance atop of a custom slate blue dance floor with a pewter lacy laser cut pattern that perfectly framed them.
