Molly + Dave’s Wedding was one of our last SHE Weddings at our now closed venue, Slate, + it was a dreamy fall vision. The amber, burnt orange, burgundy + touches of worn leather throughout the venue transformed the space. On the cocktail + dancing side of the studio, SHE enlisted the help of GreenSinner to hang mix matched Edison bulbs from a ceiling of fresh greenery + to highlight the custom wall-papered accent wall. The other side of the studio acted as the ceremony room + was later transformed into the reception room. Once it was time for dinner, guests moved back to the reception room where the lights were dimmed + showcased two long, romantic family style tables with open seating for everyone. After dinner, guests enjoyed the sounds of DJ Digital Dave + ate late night snacks from the Kimberly Ashlee Food Truck. It was a night to remember + SHE sends so much love + gratitude to Molly + Dave for letting us be a small part of their big day!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Cara + Conor

Cara + Conor’s wedding last year was a stunner! As soon as guests moved from cocktail hour to the ballroom, they walked through a tunnel of flowing white drapery, decorated with gorgeous pedestals of floral arrangements. The Omni William Penn’s ballroom was transformed with beautiful white florals, larger than life candles + upside down roses stemming from oversized lamp shades. The tables were a mix of traditional rounds + rectangles but made more modern with white leather curved couches for seating sprinkled into the layout. The dancefloor was a custom mirrored floor where guests danced the night away. It was a night to remember! SHE loves this family so much + wishes them all of the love + joy that they bring to everyone around them.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Casey + David

Casey + David’s love story is a sweet one…literally! It started many years ago when they would both watch their younger brothers play baseball under the coaching of David’s dad. Fast forward a couple years + Casey was going into her junior year of high school + had a job at Bruster’s Ice Cream. David had just graduated high school + would frequently stop at Bruster’s where he spent many nights eating Birthday Cake ice cream, each cone with a few extra scoops, scooped by Casey. Fast forward again to 2018, David had finished his first season with the San Diego Padres minor league team + reconnected with Casey + the rest is history.

SHE loved working with Casey + David, their love for each other + their overall fun-loving personalities are contagious! The day could not have been more beautiful. The reception was held at the Hotel Monaco which was the perfect backdrop for the classic + chic design of Casey + David’s wedding. DJ Digital Dave + Jason Kendall Productions kept the dance floor packed the entire night with their combined sounds. It was an elegant + timeless affair + SHE sends all the love in the world to Casey + David + their families.

Kaitie + Chris’s wedding was another standout celebration from last year! It was the third time that SHE has had the absolute honor of working with the Olivo family + planning one of their children’s dream weddings. This time, it was with their only son Chris + his beautiful bride to be Kaitie. Kaitie’s vision for her wedding was glamorous yet also chic. From the white-on-white linens + florals with teeny tiny pops of pale pink mixed in, the Westin Hotel’s ballroom was transformed into a magical oasis. SHE can’t talk about this day without mentioning the absolute gorgeous wedding dresses, a custom Inesdisanto + a stunning Berta dress, Kaitie wore, both from Chris’s family’s shop, Bridal Beginning. It was a fabulous night for a fabulous couple + SHE was honored to play a part. Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | Olivia + Dennis Welcome Dinner

The welcome dinner for Olivia + Dennis was only the start of an absolutely amazing + stylish Wedding weekend! Check back next week for a look into their gorgeous wedding + reception ;) The welcome dinner gave a small glimpse into the wedding detail palette with bright + gorgeous florals greeting guests as soon as they walked in + a stunning statement custom pink bar. Each meal course was better than the next with the finale being delicious ricotta cheesecake honoring the groom’s favorite family dessert. It was a beautiful evening + the start of a memorable weekend for Olivia + Dennis. SHE just loves this couple + can’t wait for you to see more from their dream wedding celebration!
