The Best of the Batch Foundation is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the lives of children + families in distressed communities by building character, self-esteem, + appreciation for education. In The Pocket with Charlie Batch is the foundation's signature event. With dozens of sponsors + over 800 attendees, it promotes computer literacy and STEAM programs.

SHE has been so honored to work with Charlie + LaTasha Batch + their team these last two years to bring their visions to life for this phenomenal annual fundraiser. What they've done in + for the community is nothing short of amazing! It was a fun design challenge to be in the same venue again + SHE wanted to top the previous 90s theme. This year, SHE took everyone to the Old Town Road with all things Western! From the wild + fun mechanical bull ride, ring toss, delicious sweets provided by Bella Christie + Lil’ Z’s Sweet Boutique, down to the flash mob dance by K Theater Dance complex, it was a showdown you didn’t want to miss! Airheads Balloon Art blew us away again this year creating the perfect cactus + cow print balloons making the room really feel like the Wild Wild West. Guests got to feel like real cowboys at this event + that’s what SHE wanted!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | Heyward House Homecoming

On the first Monday of November, The Heyward House, the Cameron Heyward Foundation held its 5th annual Gala + SHE was honored to be part of it! For those unfamiliar, The Heyward House, is Pittsburgh Steeler, Cam Heyward’s Foundation. The Heyward House is dedicated to impacting the lives of today’s youth through their events + causes.

This year’s theme for the Gala was Homecoming, where those invited could show off their school spirit + also rep the black + gold! Guests weren’t the only people who had fun with the theme, SHE loved creating an event that brought us back to our high school + college days. Any homecoming isn’t complete without balloons, pom-poms, + custom lockers supporting your favorite player! As the event went on, guests enjoyed upscale tailgate food, sat on the bleachers surrounding the dancefloor, watched a live artist, Cody Sabol create incredible paintings that would later be auctioned off + enjoyed the sounds of the Obama High School Marching Band who were a surprise performance for Cam + his guests!

It was a wonderful event that brought everyone together + raised a lot of money that will be used to help the youth, which is what it’s all about!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | David Alan Fashion Show

SHE shut it down...literally! In October SHE had the honor of working with custom clothier, David Alan Clothing, + some of the best + most talented friendors (vendors) to shut down Grandview Avenue on Mt. Washington - one of the premier streets in the city of Pittsburgh with the most stunning view - to produce a charitable celebrity fashion show coined “Meet Me At The Top”. It was an evening for the books! Proceeds benefited UPMC Children’s Hospital and Cuddles for Kids + showcased a star-studded lineup for the catwalk who featured brand new custom suits. There was no shortage of photo opps, details amazing fashion + beautiful people — all with the city skyline as the backdrop. What an amazing event to be apart of!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Brittany + Karl

One thing SHE loves is our never-ending relationships with our clients + families! We’ve known Brittany personally + she even attended our first “SHE event”. A decade ago, SHE was established + so were the Lozanne’s. They did not have a wedding as they were both super focused on their career goals, wrapping up medical school + law school. Fast forward to Karl’s 40th celebration that we planned in Charlotte, NC + now to their 10 year vow renewal in Blythewood, SC for Dr. + Mrs. Karl Lozanne Esquire! We could not be more honored to create this moment + share in this special milestone with their children, family, + friends. They’ve both worked so hard + achieved so much + this evening they could kick back and be celebrated. 

Doko Manor was so charming + the perfect backdrop for our modern garden design. The color palette was everything! Not your typical fall colors yet very appropriate for the season. The ceremony was set with a picture perfect background + floral arch. From there, guests moved inside + stepped into a completely transformed ballroom! The mix of high + low florals were able to make a statement with satin + crème linens accentuating the design. It was a celebration to remember with the sounds of Mike Stone Entertainment keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. SHE was honored to apart of Dr. + Mrs. Karl Lozanne’s celebration!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Meghan + Matt

As delicately as the seasons change, SHE tiptoed into Fall with the stunning wedding celebration of Meghan + Matt. With an early September wedding, the design + decor hinted at the crisp weather that was to come with phenomenal velvet elements all while being reminiscent of warmer summer evenings with hues of slate blue + gray with pops of mustard, peach, + gunmetal. The inviting palette + decor, which consisted of an abundance of candles + crystal from the candelabras, clear glass tables + Pittsburgh Field Clubs’s chandeliers that dripped of rich greenery, paralleled the warm, genuine personalities of the newlyweds. What topped off the night was watching the couple share their first dance atop of a custom slate blue dance floor with a pewter lacy laser cut pattern that perfectly framed them.

SHE may be biased but the Pittsburgh Field Club never looked so romantic + stylish + SHE couldn’t have created such a magical night without this ever-so-deserving Mr. + Mrs.! Watch the beauty unfold in the teaser below by ShoFilms!
