The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by making Buddy the Elf appear! During the Holiday Season, {SHE} prepped for Santa’s arrival with a holiday pop-up bar inspired by the movie “ELF” at Hotel Monaco. The Commoner at Hotel Monaco was transformed into a winter wonderland when Veronica’s Balloon Design decked the halls with their Christmas themed balloons. Their custom Christmas trees and swirly-twirly gum drop balloons left partygoers in awe! Loree Mayer Designs + Speedpro Imaging Pittsburgh North turned guests into elves with their custom oversized holiday card, where everyone got a chance to show off their pretty faces! The bartenders kept the cocktails creative which were inspired by Buddy’s four essential food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup! The cocktails gave everyone some extra holiday cheer! Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Alex + Michael

Pittsburgh meets the Netherlands was the wedding vibe Alex + Michael wanted so {SHE} made it happen! This beautiful wedding mix was inspired by the Groom’s family background + the Brides hometown. This wedding was the perfect way to give their guests a glimpse of the groom’s family history while still keeping things stylish + sleek! {SHE} loved doing this Delft inspired wedding!

Alex + Michael’s wedding was on a snowy day mid-January but that didn’t stop this couples special day! The ceremony was simple + elegant with large statement pieces from Hens + Chicks. The blue + white florals complimented the bride’s gown perfectly. Hens + Chicks made the reception even more amazing with their floral centerpieces in custom delftware. The blue palette really made guests feel like they were in the Netherlands! Mastro Ice’s custom AHM ice sculptures added some spice to the room wowing everyone! The details were perfect + so was the Elite Show Band keeping Alex + Michael’s friends + family entertained. This wedding was one for the books! {SHE} had fun planning every minute of it. Congrats to Mr. + Mrs. Hugens!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Sarah + Wouter

Sarah + Wouter’s love story is a special one that centered around family + tradition. They met as collegiate tennis coaches + formed a fast friendship that quickly turned to love. Their cocktail hour + reception combined the family + tradition aspects, as it was held on Sarah’s family’s gorgeous estate. Years ago, the Short family built the most amazing barn on their property for their kids to get married in + to date, Sarah was the second out of four children to get married at the barn.

When guests arrived to the property, they grabbed their hanging escort card + made their way to the cocktail hour where Sarah + Wouter arrived in the coolest vintage red Mustang. After cocktail hour, guests traveled a few short feet to the Short family’s barn that was decorated with gorgeous greenery + flowers created by the florist, GreenSinner + immediately had a dance set to get the night started. It was a perfect night full of memories that Sarah + Wouter will never forget!

Kay + Mike are truly each other’s best friend! On the morning of their wedding day, Kay + Mike both got ready in the same room. As best friends + soon to be husband + wife they could not imagine getting ready separately on such an important day. Their ceremony + reception was held at The Mansions on Fifth in mid December. The weather outside was cold but the mood inside was full of warmth + love. The red, gold + green palette created a romantic holiday vibe as each dining room had beautiful greenery + candlelight from The Blue Daisy Floral to complete the look. It was a perfect night for Kay + Mike as guests danced the night away to the sounds of The Bachelor Boys. {SHE} was so happy to create a magical night for our lovely couple!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | In The Pocket With Charlie Batch Event

Now this is a story all about how {SHE} flipped NOVA Place upside down! The Best of the Batch Foundation threw it back to the 90s for their 12th Annual In The Pocket Silent Auction and it was a hit! This event was designed to perfection with color changing illuminations, chain link balloons, + hanging slinkies! The airbrush designs by 232 Creative + classic arcade games provided a true 90s feel. DJ Bonics pumped up the volume with his music keeping the guests moving + grooving. The Best of The Batch Foundation is invested in improving the lives of children in distressed communities by building character, self-esteem, + educational goals + {SHE} loved designing this event for such an awesome cause. Ain’t no party like a 90s party!
