With so many to-dos + formalities to come during the wedding weekend, Katie + Tony made sure their guests were welcomed to the Steel City with a stylish + super fun kickoff event. (Seriously, K + T gave their guests a wedding weekend experience that was second to none!) Branding our beloved City of Pittsburgh is exactly what these high school sweethearts envisioned for their welcome party. The historical Heinz History Center was the perfect venue and set the stage along with key elements of the 412 that were intentionally sprinkled throughout the design + details. Guests of the bride + groom from near and far took a food tour with a taste of neighborhood classics. Floral fabulousness infused with iconic cultural and sports traditions was oh-so-Pittsburgh! This couple's love for their city intertwined with their love for each other and was the perfect theme to kick off their epic wedding weekend in the 'Burgh! We are so excited to see all of their jaw-dropping wedding events featured in Whirl Magazine this month!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Ericka + Anthony

The award for the most gorgeous destination wedding + bride goes to Ericka - yes, {SHE}'s very own + No, we aren't biased! Ericka's wedding to her longtime love Anthony was earlier this summer at the Azul Fives Resort in beautiful Mexico! After a few fun filled days soaking up the sun with family + friends it was time for Ericka + Anthony to say I Do on an oceanfront rooftop in front of their closest family + friends. The day could not have been more perfect for this beautiful couple. {SHE} knows Ericka + Anthony's love is true + everlasting + we are so happy for them to begin their lifetime together!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | David + Ryan

When {SHE} met David + Ryan, we knew their sense of style, love for each other and love of Beyoncé (more on that later) were the perfect ingredients for their chic + modern wedding held at the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh. Before the ceremony started, David + Ryan's guests were treated to a Veuve Clicquot Brut champagne bar which tied into their initial wedding invitation design + each guest's favor, their own individual Veuve Clicquot Brut champagne bottle to take home! After the ceremony guests made their way into the reception space + were amazed by the stunning floral design + ivory + gold interactive sequin linens that were so unique -- guests could not stop playing with them all night! Just when the guests were getting settled for dinner David + Ryan had one last surprise up their sleeve! For their grand entrance into the reception as husband + husband Ryan rode in on an exact replica of the custom bicycle Beyoncé rode in her Blow music video! It was the most fabulous start to any reception {SHE} has ever seen!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Shaina + Adam

There wasn’t a shade of purple omitted for Shaina + Adam’s gorgeous wedding day at the Omni William Penn — and {SHE} has not one complaint! From the pretty, purple linens + customized, gold foil pressed stationery to an exquisite floral design, impeccable lighting + unique floor plan featuring a diamond-shaped dance floor — the Grand Ballroom exuded the luxury + depth of this jewel-tone hue to perfection. Shaina + Adam hosted nearly 200 of their closest family + friends at one of the most regal venues the city has to offer; without a doubt, it was an evening that will not be forgotten! As guests arrived to the 17th floor, they were welcomed by a display of champagne flutes with purple ombré hanging scrolls as escort cards. And just when guests could not stop swooning over the cocktail space in the Urban Room, we opened the doors leading to the ballroom to leave everyone stunned! Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Stephanie + Brad

In our initial wedding planning meeting Stephanie expressed that her wedding colors would be a vivid shade of yellow, white + gold, + as we got to know this fantastic bride more and more, it was clear that no other color palette suited her better. She was truly a ray of sunshine all the time -- uber sweet with the brightest smile on her face! Steph had an aura about her that truly made working with her + Brad so much fun!  {SHE} helped to intertwine rustic yet elegant + unique details + design elements from farm tables, custom wooden signage, donut tower wedding cake + unforgettable centerpieces comprised of fantastic fresh florals, lemongrass trees + bowls of vibrant yellow lemons!  The couple also expressed that it was extremely important to have a party -- and that they definitely had.  They started this whole journey with one epic proposal story that consisted of a flash mob + front row tickets to Taylor Swift.
