Here Ye, Here Ye! Called princesses one + all, it was Princess Sienna Capri's 2nd Birthday + we had a ball! {SHE} can't believe baby Sienna is already TWO! Her Royal 2nd Birthday Ball was a party fit for a princess! Cinderella blue, white, + gold was the perfect palette to bring this princess party to life. By now you know that we're snobs for details + we insist on branding from start to finish! Guests received the most adorable scroll invitations to Sienna's Royal Birthday Ball, another one-of-a-kind invite designed by our friendors, Simply Fab Chic + Loree Mayer Design. From the pretty stems + adorable royal carriage to the glass slipper ice cream station + treats almost too cute to eat - it was a magical day. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique transformed Sienna + her guests into little princesses - hair, makeup, nails + of course dress-up too! Princess Sienna made a grand entrance along with Cinderella herself....no details were spared! We love that our clients continue to trust us to execute their visions + plan their life celebrations, stylishly of course! Our job is truly magical. Pittsburgh Event Planner | Sienna's 1st Birthday Luau

If there is one thing {SHE} loves -- it's keeping it in the family! Recently we posted an ultra fab 60th surprise birthday party for Roberta + now we have the pleasure to feature her granddaughter's incredible 1st birthday luau.  The family's backyard provided the perfect setting to create a tropical paradise + it didn't hurt that the weather was literally picture-perfect!  Guests initially learned of this fantastic celebration with a one-of-a-kind invitation -- a gold foil tube containing colorful stationery + a Hawaii lei, which they were asked to wear on the birthday girl's day.  Upon arriving at the party, they were greeted by Polynesian dancers amongst a 15' tall balloon arch with "Aloha" on top.  The family's gazebo was converted to a 4-sided tiki hut bar with the cutest grass skirt stools.  The dessert table was far from simplistic which was comprised of a grass-covered table with not one, not two, but three birthday cakes -- because every fantastic one-year-old, like Sienna, needs 3 cakes! Behind delicately hung coconut cups with florals spilling over + gold painted pineapples.  The kiddos didn't go home empty-handed -- the favors were an array of colorful sand buckets filled to the brim with flip flops, fluorescent zinc sticks, sunglasses, flip-flop straws + a custom cookie. And as if that wasn't enough -- the day was topped off with Polynesian dancers perform with dances and song. Skysight Photography + Post Script Productions did such an unbelievable job, allowing all of us to commemorate the day!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | Roberta's Stylishly 60th Surprise Birthday Celebration

{SHE} has had the pleasure of knowing Roberta for several years and she has always been admired for her sweet personality, warm heart, love for family, + of course her impeccable taste. So when we were asked to plan her surprise 60th birthday party, we knew this definitely needed to be a stylish celebration to match the guest of honor.  Hotel Monaco's rooftop space + Rialto Suite provided the absolute perfect backdrop for this soiree.  With a trendy yet elegant color palette of blush, ivory, rose gold + taupe, the space was decked out with ultra chic linens, lounge furniture, custom pillows, jaw-dropping floral designs + the focal point -- two 9' boxwood walls with a photo montage of Roberta + her favorite people in rose gold frames. Because the details didn't stop just there (because duh -- we are #detailsnobs) guests could reminisce of commemorative events that occurred the year Roberta was born on ivory + rose gold foil cocktail on napkins + enjoy a lengthy list of what made the birthday girl just so so so special on customized acrylic signage.  Also, knowing that coffee flavored ice cream was one of her favorite desserts, it was a no-brainer to serve it in delicate coffee cups made out of chocolate! About 60 (how appropriate!) of her closest family + friends patiently awaited Roberta's arrival, who thought she was simply attending a work event for her son-in-law, Simon.  As she gracefully walked through the doors, thinking nothing of it, she was overwhelmed with wonderful emotion as everyone shouted "Surprise!" Love engulfed the chic space throughout the entire night with tears of happiness, big smiles + loads of laughter.  Skysight Photography images captured every deed + every moment beautifully!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | Masquerade Bash for Latasha Wilson-Batch

Over the weekend we celebrated stylishly with one of our favorite girl bosses! Latasha serves as the executive director for the Best of the Batch Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to improving the lives of children and families in distressed communities by building character, self-esteem, and appreciation for education. Latasha's other title is superwoman! During the planning process we were able to see her wear many hats and witness her amazing work ethic in action. Her schedule never lets up from spearheading the foundation, speaking all over the city and country, advocating in the community, mentoring youth, empowering women, attending a gazillion events all over, serving on a multitude of boards...the list goes on! Knowing her personally, her leadership and passion is beyond inspiring and seriously worthy of a celebration! Planning this milestone, Latasha wanted it to be a memorable event for closest friends, family, and colleagues-mission accomplished with masks required, a swanky venue in the city, bold + beautiful details + color palette, food + desserts overload, and a fun party! Latasha also wanted to highlight the foundation and everything that's happening for it after 17 years of commitment and hard work. In lieu of birthday gifts, {SHE} asked her guests to donate to the foundation. This is SO true to who Latasha is--selfless, giving, and always putting others first. We could not be happier to see her start a new decade oh-so-fabulously with a smile, happy tears, and surrounded by love! Crushing on these images by Kamron Khan Photography!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | Forces of Nature

This time last year we collaborated with the best of the best in Pittsburgh for one night of design insanity supporting Event Pros Take Action. Five planners were given the design challenge of color. Guess what color {SHE} got? Pink of course! Any other color for this would have been so unnatural because our world is pink. This hue embodies an attitude and set the tone for our design that was defiantly feminine, opulent, dramatic, yet playful! Our pretty in pink, plush play lounge was a dream! The interactive chic space draped in shimmery blush sequin included a life-size sliding puzzle, oversized Jenga, tic tac toe tables, checker tables, and the classic game of Tetris with a floral game controller. Can't forget the thrift piano that came to life with gallons of pink paint + glitter and hundreds of flowers. And then there was the ribbon + floral chandelier that anchored the space. What a labor of love cascading ribbon and flowers ceiling to floor?! We're still in awe of this magical evening and the amount of love + time every single person and company contributed to this project. Our white floral wall greeted guests upon arrival!! {SHE} was so proud of our city, our industry, and genuinely inspired by the talent that was showcased by all! Lauren Renee Designs did not leave out a single detail in the beautiful photos! This was no small fete; our team, friendors, and partners worked very, very hard to knock this design out of the park and we're forever grateful. This is how you PARTY WITH A PURPOSE!
