Amber + Wasi had the most incredible wedding weekend! It all started on Friday with their colorful + full of energy Mehndi celebration. The patterned + colorful dancefloor in the center of the room was the focal point for the dances later in evening as Amber + Wasi sat on their throne, complete with a comfy swing + surrounded by four pillars of gorgeous flowers.

The next day, the reception was held in the same room as the night before but completely transformed thanks to the magical elves of GreenSinner who worked through the night to flip the colorful theme of Friday to a gorgeous + chic all white reception, complete with a mirrored dancefloor. Amber + Wasi’s wedding weekend was unforgettable. SHE was honored to help make their vision come to life + wish them years of happiness!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Chelsea + Brian

Happy one month anniversary to our beautiful + sweet {SHE} couple, Chelsea + Brian! Their ceremony was at one of Pittsburgh’s iconic chapel’s Saint Mary on the Mount, + from there, guests traveled to Oakmont Country Club where they walked into a ballroom bursting with color. Chelsea has a special love for all things Kate Spade, so it made sense that her dream wedding reflected the brand’s vibrant, bold + colorful style. {SHE} loves to mix colors + patterns, so each table had a combination of vivid flowers, paired with either jumbo gold statement vases, or a collection of Delft pottery. {SHE} can’t forget to mention the head table’s floral masterpiece created by Hens + Chicks which was one of the focal points in the room.

However, not to be outdone, the custom navy + floral dancefloor was the clear focal point winner. When Chelsea + Brian saw the room before their guests, they immediately stepped onto the dancefloor + Brian gave Chelsea a few practice twirls while both soaking in the moment. At the end of the night, Chelsea loved the dancefloor so much, she asked to take a part of it home to frame + remember forever. {SHE} was so happy to make Chelsea + Brian’s dream wedding come to life + we wish them not only a happy one month, but many more wonderful anniversaries together!

Pittsburgh Event Planner | Sienna + Amya's Mermaid Birthday Party

Sienna's 3rd birthday + Amya's 16th joint mermaid themed birthday party was out of this world...or should we say SEA! The party was held at the family home where the pool with floating balloon bubbles was a major hit with all of the young mermaids + mermen! Guests entered the party through a custom aquarium bursting with brightly colored, life like sea creatures such as an octopus, jelly fish + more all made out of balloons. Once down by the pool, a real life mermaid was waiting for the kids to teach them about life under the sea. The sea creatures didn't end at the aquarium, more of them made their way down by the bar where specialty aquamarine  cocktails were served. If guests wanted to escape the heat, they ventured inside to grab a mermaid fin cake pop, sea shell cookie or any of the other amazing desserts provided by Bella Christie + Lil Z's bake shop. Sienna + Amya's birthday party was Mer-tastic time + every kid went home with a goodie bag that reminded them just how Mer-mazing they really are.
